For Umma, love Stephanie
It was Christmas Eve and Eeteuk wasn’t pleased, his boyfriend had broken up with him. “Why Christmas Eve!? Of all the days in the damn year, he chooses Christmas Eve. Terrific.”
Eeteuk scowled as he walked around the living room, he snatched up the phone and dialed his friend, Yesung’s number. He needed to talk to someone. “Come on Yesung… Please answer the phone.”
There was a distinct click of an answer machine and Eeteuk threw the phone on the coach. He sat on the table and glared at the phone, pretending it was Yesung. He began to calm down. He knew that Yesung was with Ryeowook and Kyuhyun tonight. Doing what, he didn’t want to know. He sighed, “This is going to be the worst Christmas ever.” He mumbled to himself, he looked up at the ceiling and wondered if there was someone he could call that would be able to be with him tonight, but either they weren’t in Korea or they were with their special someone, “like I was supposed to be.” huffed Eeteuk. He got up and walked to the Christmas tree, that he had put up with his ex, it was standing in the corner of the apartment. He sat down on his knees in front of the tree and began to rummage through the presents that were for his friends. He stopped when he saw two. He pulled them out. One of the gift was supposed to be for his ex. Eeteuk frowned at the gift. He shook it and then remembered what he had given him. He blushed. Tonight was supposed to be that special between them both, but it wasn’t going to happen. Eeteuk threw it on top of the television set. He tried patting his face to bring down the blush that was still on his cheeks. While he patted his cheeks, he looked down at the floor to see the other present; it was for Kangin. His thoughts flew to the other day when he was talking to Kangin. And Kangin asked him if they could spend time on Christmas Eve, but he had rejected the younger boy, wanting to be with his boyfriend. He frowned, feeling bad that he had done that. And now he regretted it.
Eeteuk looked up when the door bell rang. His heart jumped, ‘Ah! Maybe he wants to get back together!’ Eeteuk stood up quickly replacing Kangin’s present under the tree and running towards the door. He stopped short. ‘I have to be calm; I can’t have him thinking I am that desperate.’ Eeteuk quietly walked up to the door and looked through the peep hole. He couldn’t see anything, ‘Hmm that is strange. Why can’t I see?’ He placed his hand on the handle and slowly opened the door. He was surprised to see Kangin.
“Merry Christmas Hyung~” Kangin said, smiling and pulling his right hand back (which was covering the peep hole) and extending his left hand holding a present.
“What-” Eeteuk sputtered in shock.
Kangin smiled, “I didn’t want you to spend Christmas all by yourself. So I came.”
“Thanks Kangin.” He said with a smile. He stepped to the side, letting the younger boy enter the apartment. Kangin gave the present to Eeteuk. He took the present to the tree and placed it next to Kangin’s. He turned to see that Kangin was already sitting on the couch. All of the sudden, a wave of nervousness hit Eeteuk.
‘Why am I nervous? It is only Kangin. My dongsaeng, my friend.’
Eeteuk tried to calm himself down and went to sit down next to Kangin on the couch. Eeteuk realized that Kangin was big. He took up most of the room of the couch. He laughed to himself. Kangin coughed, making Eeteuk jump. He realized that he hasn’t said anything. His nerves were getting to him. He had to get out of the room for a bit.
“Oh. Would you like some tea?” Eeteuk asked.
“Yes, thank you hyung.” Kangin said smiling.
Eeteuk stood up, “Well you can make yourself more comfortable while I go make the tea.”
“I can help.”
“No!” he said a bit forcefully, “I can do it. You are the guest.” He stated beginning to walk to the kitchen.
“Well if you say so.” Kangin mumbled looking at Eeteuk strangely.
Eeteuk entered the kitchen and he tried get ahold of his nerves. He felt stupid; he didn’t know why he was feeling so nervous with Kangin. ‘Maybe I am tired and sad, and it is making some strange things happen.’ He mumbled to himself while he set the water to boil for the tea. As he stood there thinking of the possible explanations on why he is nervous with Kangin, he didn’t realize that Kangin was standing behind him in the doorway of the kitchen.
Kangin smiled while watching Eeteuk bite his lip and fret. He always loved his Eeteuk and he was actually happy that Eeteuk’s old boyfriend had broken up with him. He could finally try and reveal his love to Eeteuk, but right now he liked to watch Eeteuk “nervously” make the tea. The tea kettle whistled and Eeteuk jumped. Now Kangin was nervous, ‘Maybe he needs help…’. Kangin walked up behind Eeteuk, “Hyung, need help?”. Kangin watched with a smile as Eeteuk jumped, and shrieked. Eeteuk spun around and clutched his heart, “Don’t do that!” Eeteuk yelled slapping Kangin’s shoulder. Kangin laughed, “I didn’t mean to scare you.” Eeteuk glared, Kangin’s grin widened, “Alright I’m sorry hyung for giving you a heart attack.” He mumbled and leaned forward quickly giving Eeteuk a kiss. Eeteuk stood in shock. Kangin reached around him and grabbed the two mugs of tea and left the kitchen to the living room, leaving the still shocked Eeteuk in the kitchen. Eeteuk touched his lips, “What is going on?” he mumbled to himself. He looked at the entry way, “I’ll figure this out!” he muttered and walked out of the kitchen into the living room. He seen Kangin sitting on the couch, sipping his tea. He stepped towards Kangin.
“What was that!? Why did you kiss me?” Eeteuk asked confused.
Kangin stared at Eeteuk; he shrugged and went back to sipping his tea.
“That is it? You shrug.”
Kangin shrugged again. Eeteuk fumed, but sat down. He angerly grabbed his tea and took a gulp, ending up burning his tongue. He jumped up and began fanning his mouth with his hand. ’Ow Ow Ow…’. He didn’t realize that Kangin had stood up and was standing in front of him. He stopped fanning when his arm was grabbed. Eeteuk looked up at Kangin in surprise. “Kangin? What are-” his words were cut off with Kangin kissing him and slipping his tongue into Eeteuk’s partly open mouth. Eeteuk stood frozen as Kangin’s tongue sweeped around in his mouth. Kangin gently pulled Eeteuk towards his body, Eeteuk stood tensed, not able to get strength to push Kangin away.
“Relax hyung~.” Kangin mumbled against Eeteuk’s lips. Eeteuk blinked, not moving. But finally he relaxed and began to kiss Kangin back. Kangin pulled back, Eeteuk stared at Kangin.
“Kangin-” Eeteuk started.
“Saranghaeyo.” Kangin mumbled pressing another kiss on Eeteuk’s parted lips. “I always have.”
He stared into Eeteuk’s eyes, almost pleading. “I… I….” Eeteuk stopped and stared at Kangin, he smiled, “Nado saranghaeyo.”
Eeteuk smiled against the lips that were pressing another kiss. His eyes slipped shut when he felt Kangin’s fingers at his waist.
“Why don’t we move this to another room?” Kangin mumbled. Eeteuk stepped back and stared at Kangin. Kangin stared back confused; “If you don’t…” he trailed off. Eeteuk took a deep breath, “its okay.” He leaned forward and pressed a quick kiss to Kangin’s lips.
“Follow me.” Eeteuk stated and walked to the television, grabbed the box and then to his bedroom. Kangin smiled, following Eeteuk and slammed the door shut behind him. And the rest is led to imagination. XP
